The beauty is in the details. If not for the subtle touch of white on white, I might overlook this unique minimal half and half wall.

I remembered reading somewhere that we sometimes undervalue the importance of the spaces between things. If we're able to frame a section and give our eyes a place to rest, omitted details will come into focus. My immediate attention is on the dino-ish rock on the left, then, ...let's pause for a few seconds..., what do you see?

Circular windows are far more common on ships than houses. I like the mixture of simple shapes seen here with a row of the rectangle on top and plenty of round-shape opening on the rows below.

Old or new? Rough or smooth? I like the stark contrast between the randomize wall pattern on the left and the single focus determine black stroke on the right.

My dad. Ever since I know him, wakes up at 5:15 am, morning routine includes local morning news on TV, 20min stretching exercise and a cup of hot Nescafé. In his car by 6:00 am, picks up the morning paper and on the course to tee off around 6:30 am. He's 85, hit his first hole-in-one last year, and he just proudly told me he won a bag of rice in today's senior competition. Love you daddy, Happy Father's Day!

It's easy to forget the importance of space, silence or emptiness. They are the basis for contrast, without them, we might not notice the beautiful primary tarp colors floating up top.

In a straight line, from small to large, red to sand, I am charmed by the rocks in Joshua Tree National Park.

Unbothered by the massive 200 feet backdrop, this single tree stands in solitude at the base of New Croton Dam. With an attitude of gentleness and kindness, it radiates a quality that is peaceful, at the same time strong and powerful.

Left or right? I can't decide. On the left, I find the pastel lavender brick wall pattern to be very refreshing. But, I also like the smooth texture of creamy beige and nude on the right.

A series of simple lines and planes. On a beautiful sunny day, it's quite a sight to see the shadow cast by the banana grove creating a natural wallpaper that brings richness and depth to the main house of Neutra VDL House.

Three windows with a lovely mix of sun-faded pastel tone panels, functional or not, they are composed of colors that are best fitted for the bright sunny state of California.
