Minor Secrets

I have a well-used pruning scissors with rusted tip and a grey plastic grip. It was a hand-me-down from Nancy for harvesting her vegetable patch in return for a few cat-sitting favors. 

Over the years, I have taken a liking to this pair of scissors and found myself many times on a walk or hike wishing I had brought it with me. Finally this summer, I decided that it should have a spot among the keys, the iPhone, and the hand sanitizer in my everyday bag.

I believe we sometimes do carry one or two unusual items with us, and mine is this pair of down to earth pruning scissors.
